圆津禅院(Yuanjin Buddhist Temple)
Yuanjin Buddhist Temple locates at the cross river of Caogang River and Pearl Stream, where is a place with beautiful landscape in Zhujiajiao. The temple was first built during the power of Zhizheng in Yuan Dynasty, that is, 1341, which is more than 600 years ago. There is a statue of Holy Mother of Chenzhou, therefore, it is also named the Empress' Temple. The temple is smart in structure. Thoush small in number of buddhist’s figures, the sculpture is fine, colorful as well as serious with the sense of holiness. |
